~what is the difference between technology use and technology integration?
The differnce between technology use and integration is that you can use it just as you use google.com or msn.com just using it to make things easier on you, however integration is when you use it as a piece of the classroom. Bubble.us is a website that would be great as integration because instead of making a web on the board or using wolf vision you can use the computer to help students make brainstorm webs to help them write papers and keep everything organised. Using the computer is a great way to get students used to doing tests online. Most schools and colleges are going to that now a days because of the easier grading and less work on the teacher. For some weird reason the tests on the computer seem to be easier. Mountainview Elementary uses the computers to help students with their numbers and letters but they don't integrate the technology in the classroom. However they are a reading first school so they use more books in the classroom than any other school I have ever seen.
I completely agree with your viewpoint about technology integration helping students be better organized and understand in completeness concepts the teacher may be trying to convey. I do have to disagree about Mountainview Elementary not using technology because my teacher uses this technique frequently to better explain her subject matter.
